Newgrove House

A key part of the proposal is the careful restoration and extension of the listed building, Newgrove House. The vision is to sensitively transform the property into a new clubhouse, retaining its Georgian character while adapting it to meet modern accessibility standards and operational requirements.

Newgrove House is currently made up of a group of derelict farm buildings arranged around a mid‑eighteenth‑century Georgian dwelling. The proposals would bring these historic structures back into active use, preserving their architectural heritage while securing their long-term future as part of the new golf club development.

The design has been carefully developed to complement the historic house and ensure a natural cohesion between the existing buildings and proposed extension. This approach establishes a refreshed identity for the club, one that respects its heritage while providing an inclusive, architecturally coherent facility for future generations.

The project will seek to minimise environmental impact by incorporating sustainable design principles throughout the construction and operation of the new clubhouse.
